NFMC items ground the vehicle. Any fault on a No Further Movement Criteria item means the vehicle must not be dispatched until repaired. Annotate all faults on DA Form 5988 and report to your motor sergeant immediately.

What TM covers PLS PMCS?

PLS PMCS is covered by TM 9-2320-364-10, the operator's manual for the Palletized Load System (M1074/M1075). This TM defines all five PMCS intervals for the PLS truck and its trailer. ArmyADP.com's PLS PMCS app is built from TM 9-2320-364-10.

What are NFMC faults on a PLS?

NFMC faults on the PLS include brake system failures, steering defects, hydraulic system leaks affecting the load handling arm, damaged flatrack hooks or locking pins, tire damage, and any fault that makes the vehicle or load handling system unsafe to operate. All NFMC faults must be annotated on DA Form 5988.

What is the difference between the PLS and HEMTT-LHS?

Both the PLS (M1074/M1075) and HEMTT-LHS (M1120) use hook-arm load handling systems for flatracks and containers, but the PLS is a larger, heavier platform with a higher payload capacity (16.5 tons vs. the HEMTT-LHS's 11 tons). The PLS also has a dedicated trailer (M1076) for additional cargo capacity.

How do I fill out a DA Form 5988 for a PLS?
