Lubricate all grease fittings — front and rear axles, driveshafts, steering linkage per lubrication order

Check power steering fluid level and inspect hoses for leaks or chafing

Inspect steering gear box for leaks and mounting bolts for tightness

Check wheel bearing play on all 8 wheels — no excessive looseness or roughness

Inspect independent suspension components — control arms, ball joints, and tie rods on all axles

Check shock absorbers for leaks, damage, or loose mounting hardware

Inspect brake drums and linings on all axles — minimum 1/4 inch lining remaining; no cracks in drums

Check automatic slack adjusters — must maintain proper brake adjustment; replace if not self-adjusting

Inspect battery — clean terminals, check hold-down, check electrolyte level in all cells

Check alternator belt tension and condition — 1/2 inch deflection; no cracks or fraying

Inspect radiator and deaeration tank hoses — no soft spots, cracks, or swelling

Check air intake system — air cleaner housing, ducting, and connections for leaks or damage

Check fuel filter for water or sediment — drain water separator if equipped

Inspect CTIS wheel end valves — no leaks; valves open and close properly on all 8 wheels

Check fire suppression system — inspect bottles, sensors, wiring, and control panel

Inspect NBC system — filter condition, seals, blower operation, and overpressure

Check RWS — traverse and elevation full range of motion; camera and optics functional

Inspect ramp hydraulic system — check fluid level, lines, and cylinder seals

Check tow hooks and lifting eyes — no cracks, proper mounting, no deformation

Check NATO slave receptacle — cover in place, no corrosion on contacts

Inspect fire extinguisher (portable) — pin in place, gauge in green, no damage

Check air lines and glad hands — no cracks, leaks, or damaged seals on trailer connections

Check vehicle records — DA Form 5988 current; all open faults annotated
