Perform these checks weekly or every 7 days of operation.

Lubricate all fittings per lubrication order — apply grease to all zerks on suspension, winch, and boom
Check and lubricate main winch cable — apply cable lubricant along full length; check for wear
Check and lubricate auxiliary winch cable — apply cable lubricant; check for wear and broken strands
Inspect boom pivot pins and bushings — check for wear, corrosion, and proper lubrication
Check spade pivot pins and lock pins — inspect for wear and proper operation; lubricate
Check track tension and adjust if needed — measure sag and adjust per TM procedures
Inspect all hydraulic hoses and fittings — check for chafing, leaks, and security of clamps
Check battery electrolyte level and specific gravity — top off with distilled water if low
Clean engine air cleaner — remove and clean element; check housing for damage
NFMC — No Further Movement Criteria. Any fault on an NFMC item means the vehicle is non-mission-capable and must not be dispatched until repaired. Annotate on DA Form 5988 immediately.
