MONTHLY PMCS
Perform these checks monthly or every 160 hours of operation, whichever comes first.

Change engine oil and filter — use correct viscosity per current temperature range; dispose of properly
Service air cleaner — clean or replace filter element per restriction indicator reading
Drain and inspect fuel filter — replace element if contaminated or at service interval
Check coolant concentration — must be 50/50 antifreeze/water; test with refractometer
Inspect and clean battery — remove corrosion from terminals and tray; apply protective coating
Load test battery — must maintain 9.6V under load for 15 seconds at 0°F rating
Check final drive oil levels and inspect seals — change oil per service schedule
Inspect and lubricate turret ring — clean debris, apply lubricant per lubrication order
Check gun elevation and traverse — full range of motion; no binding or jerking
Inspect breech mechanism — clean, lubricate, and verify proper operation
Check ammunition storage — all rounds properly secured; no loose or damaged rounds
NFMC — No Further Movement Criteria. Any fault on an NFMC item means the vehicle is non-mission-capable and must not be dispatched until repaired. Annotate on DA Form 5988 immediately.
