AFTER OPERATIONS PMCS
Perform these checks after every mission or movement. Allow engine to cool before checking fluids.

Check engine compartment for fluid leaks — oil, coolant, fuel, or hydraulic fluid on ground or components
Check engine oil level — top off if below MIN; investigate if significantly low
Check coolant level in surge tank — top off if low; never open cap when hot
Check transmission fluid level — top off if below MIN
Check hydraulic oil level — top off if below MIN; inspect for leaks
Inspect track — check tension, pad condition, pins, end connectors, and master pin after operation
Inspect road wheels, return rollers, drive sprockets, and idlers for damage after operation
Inspect suspension torsion bars and bump stops — no cracked or broken components
Inspect final drives for leaks — check seals and drain plugs on both sides
Check 25mm cannon bore — inspect for obstructions; clean per SOP after firing
Inspect gun mount and turret ring — no cracks, loose mounting hardware, or binding
Check ramp — inspect hinges, hydraulic cylinders, and latch mechanism for damage or leaks
Inspect exhaust system — no cracks, loose components, or heat damage near fuel lines
Check all exterior lights for damage or burned-out bulbs
Inspect hull for damage — dents, cracks, or loose armor panels
Check hatches, latches, and seals — all hatches must open, close, and latch properly
Clean vehicle — remove mud, debris, and corrosive materials from running gear and hull
Complete DA Form 5988 — annotate all faults found; submit to motor sergeant
NFMC — No Further Movement Criteria. Any fault on an NFMC item means the vehicle is non-mission-capable and must not be dispatched until repaired. Annotate on DA Form 5988 immediately.
