Army Doctrine Publication 3-13 is the Army's first publication dedicated to information. It provides the framework for creating and exploiting information advantages during operations and at home station — establishing that information is the business of every commander, leader, and Soldier.

ADP 3-13 is the November 2023 edition — the Army's first standalone doctrine on information. Boards will ask about the five information activities and how they create information advantages. OPSEC questions are perennial board favorites. Knowing that information is now a dynamic of combat power (alongside mobility, firepower, survivability, and leadership) separates you from candidates still treating information as a staff function.
